PCST’S BEGINNING

More than twenty-five years ago, a missionary couple, Pastor and Mrs. Delbert Hooge, introduced the School of Tomorrow system (then known as Accelerated Christian Education) to their local church as part of their vision for the young people of the Philippines.

As more and more pastors became interested in the individualized, Bible-based curriculum, there grew a need to see a “model” school in operation that would truly showcase the excellence of the curriculum in action.

With this initial objective, Pastor and Mrs. Hooge along with other Christian parents, decided to launch the Philippine Christian School of Tomorrow in June of 1992. PCST is dedicated to the program and therefore provides the forum for those who are willing to join with over 5,000 schools worldwide in offering the highest academic system for their children.

From its humble beginning in a six-room apartment building in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, PCST is now in a lush, 1.6 hectare property located in the heart of Metro Manila. The secure compound boasts of fully air conditioned learning centers, a computer laboratory, playground, Music and Arts Room, a 200 meter track oval, tennis court, soccer field, a seven-lane twenty meter competition pool, and a fully air-conditioned theater/gymnasium.

PCST is registered as the campus-based school of the Pacific Rim Educational Foundation, Inc., operating independently with Mrs. Lora Lee Hooge as Administrator.

PCST remains as the flag bearer of over 400 schools in the Philippines using the School of Tomorrow system.
